This special poetry-filled event celebrated International Women’s Day! Taking place on Sunday, 14th March, 2pm at The Promised Land (Windsor Place, Cardiff), Poetry on Tap featured poets JASMINE DONAHAYE and GEMMA JUNE HOWELL.

JASMINE DONAHAYE is the author of Self-portrait as Ruth (Salt), a lament on Israel/Palestine. With her first collection Misappropriations (Parthian) shortlisted for the Jerwood Aldeburgh Prize, she is currently writing a work of creative non-fiction entitled The Palestine or Orange-tufted Sunbird.

GEMMA JUNE HOWELL is the author of a collection of short stories, Inside the Treacle Well (Hafan Books). A finalist for the John Tripp Award for Spoken Poetry, she regularly performs her work at The Crunch and Jam Bones events.
