Our next poet-tastic event happens on Sunday, 16th May, 2pm at our new venue, the Old Orleans (Church St, Cardiff), featuring MIKE JENKINS. Make sure to put it in your calendar!

MIKE JENKINS won the 1998 Wales Book of the Year for his short story collection Wanting to Belong, which was then adapted for BBC Wales and Channel 4. He has also won an Eric Gregory Award, The Young Writers Prize from the Welsh Arts Council for Empire of Smoke and the John Tripp Award for Spoken Poetry.

You are welcome to share up to 2 poems at our popular Open Mic. Limited number of places, so be quick to ensure yourself a slot or you can try your luck at our Open Mic Lucky Dip!

Come and read in our lovely new venue, or simply relax with a beer and hear the words flow! Bring your friends and come join us for another fun Sunday soon.
